Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar

Delight in the fun-frolic of this Magical Ladakh Tour from Srinagar with your arrival in Srinagar. As you arrive in the city of Dal Lake, shikaras and Mughal Gradens, our Indeed Holidays tour representatives will greet in you and get you checked-in into deluxe houseboat.

After getting freshened up, you will be guided for a half day excursion to the scenic Mughal Gardens. During this excursion, you will be visiting Nishat (The Garden of pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), and few of the other vibrant gardens on the banks of the pictorial Dal Lake; most of these gardens were built under the commission of Mughal emperor Jahangir. Post this visit, you will be touring around Chashmi-e Shahi (The Royal Spring), Botanical Garden and the renowned Pari Mahal. In the Evening visit Shankaracharya temple & Hazratbal Shrine. The day will wind up with an exciting 01 Hour Shikara ride in the enchanting Dal Lake followed by your overnight stay In Deluxe Houseboat.

Day 2 Drive from Srinagar -Pahalgam – Srinagar

Waking up in the morning; after your breakfast, you will be picked up from deluxe houseboat for an enthralling drive to Pahalgam or the ‘Valley of the Shepherds’. On your way to this gorgeous valley, you will be visiting the picturesque saffron fields, Avantipura Ruins, Apple Valley, cricket bat factory in Avantipura, and the sulphur springs in Anantnag. In Pahalgam you can visit: – Aru Valley is a beautiful hill station which is 11Kms from Pahalgam. Aru is also famous for the adjoining trekking routes chich originated from Aru, Chandanwari, which is around 16km from Pahalgam and is extremely popular for activities like snow sledging and is also the origin of the pious ‘Amarnath Yatra’. On your way to Chandanwari, Betaab Valley is a beautiful valley with a brook which flows in the middle of the valley, it got its name from the Indian Film ‘Beetab’ which was shot there. A local taxi has to be hired for Aru, Chandanwari and Beetab Valley. Or will take for an amazing and equally exciting pony ride to an imposing meadow called Baisaran. Tucked away amidst snow-clad peaks and pine thickets, this meadow offers astounding panoramic views of Pahalgam along with the Lidder River. Upon the completion of this excursion, you will be driven back to Srinagar for your overnight stay.

Day 3 Drive from Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

Today morning, after having breakfast in Srinagar, you will be driven to the ‘Meadow of Flowers’ or Gulmarg. Seated at an altitude of 2,730m, this gorgeous hill station in Jammu and Kashmir is revered as one of the most fascinating skiing destinations in the entire world, and is also the home to one of the highest golf courses across the globe.

Arriving in Gulmarg, you will be free to embark on a leisurely walk around its scenic vista and enjoy its miraculous beauty. If weather permits, you can also catch the glimpses of the captivating Nanga Parbat and enjoy an exhilarating Gondola (Cable car) ride which is highest in Asia during the day. You can also opt for a fun-filled pony ride to Khilangmarg at your own expenses or can embark on a short trek of 3-4 hours to Khilangmarg. Upon completing all these exciting activities, you will be driven back to Srinagar for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 Srinagar - Sonamarg - Kargil (7-8 Hrs drive / 250 Kms)

Pick up from Srinagar and drive to Kargil via Sonamarg - the Meadow of Gold Depart from Srinagar as per road opening timings. The drive to Sonamarg is another spectacular facet of country side in Kashmir in Sindh Valley. The Sindhu Valley is the largest tributary of the valley of Kashmir. Drive to Kargil the road passes through the panoramic village reach Sonamarg (2740 Mtrs). After Sonamarg mostly there is rough road and wet to Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs (Gateway of Ladakh). Continue drive towards Drass (The second coldest inhibited place in the world). Enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks of the Kargil War fame such as Tiger Hill and Tololing Peak. Pay respect to the brave Indian soldiers who gave their lives defending the Motherland in the Kargil War of 1999 at Vijay Smarak / Kargil War Memorial. Another two and half hours’ drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Mtrs) which has got its importance after opening the Ladakh for tourists in 1974. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 Kargil - Lamayuru - Leh (220 Kms / 08 Hrs drive)

Depart from Kargil after early breakfast, en-route visiting the monastery of Mulbekh & Lamayuru & Moon landscape passing through Namkila & Fatula Passes, the highest pass on the Srinagar - Leh road and proceed to Leh Enroute visit the confluence of Indus & Zanskar river (Sangam) drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia). Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 6 Tour to Thiksey Monastery, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market

After a leisurely breakfast, we drive to visit Thiksey village, visit Thiksey monastery and drive to Shey Village to visit Shey Palace and Gompa. Continue to drive to Hemis monastery to visit one of the most famous monasteries of Ladakh. Later on, the way back to Leh get down at the Sindhu Ghat for Sindhu Darshan and walk along the river, also visit 3 Idiots School campus.  In the afternoon visit Shanti Stupa a Buddhist white-domed Stupa on a hilltop in Changspa. And also visit Leh Palace is a former royal palace overlooking the town of Leh. Later Evening visit the Leh market (stay for 01hour only). Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 Leh to Nubra via Khardung La Pass - 18,380 Feet / 5550 Meters (125 Kms / 5-6 Hrs drive)

Today post breakfast check out of the hotel & we will start our journey to Nubra Valley through Khardungla, which is the World's highest motor able road at 18,832 feet above sea level. At Khardungla pass the snow capped peaks and the mountain views are amazing. The road then passes through a bridge laid on Glacier which finds its way in Guinness Book of world records. Drive through the Valley which is extremely beautiful for photography. Nubra Valley is the Oasis of Ladakh as you see some colourful trees in this region. The valley is situated on an old caravan route at the confluence of the Shayok and the Nubra rivers. Driving further, you will finally reach the Nubra Valley, and will be taken to a scenic village called Hunder. Arriving in this village, you will get to explore and discover the enchanting sand dunes that are among the must-visit attractions in almost all the Leh Ladakh tour packages. While in Hunder, you can also indulge in double-hump Bactrian camel safaris and make some merry moments during your Ladakh tour; however, camel safaris can be availed at personal expenses. Depending on the time schedule, you can also visit the Diskit Monastery and take a stroll around the Hunder village; Later in the evening, return to your respective camps. Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel/Camp.

Day 8 Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shayok (165 Kms / Approx 05-06 Hrs)

After early breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake on the Indo China border, via the Shyok River Route. It’s a short cut and it's a beautiful route. Pangong Lake, The picturesque lake is one of the major draws of the Leh-Ladakh valley. a location of several film shootings and known for its pristine waters surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains, Pangong Lake is a prime tourist attraction. The long and narrow lake lies in the neighbourhood of the famous Chushul Mountains. In the evening, check-in at your camps in Spangmik (Pangong). Enjoy your dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 9 Pangong to Leh via Changla Pass - 5486 Mtrs (160 Kms / 5-6 Hrs drive)

Get up early morning to witness the sunrise view at the lake. Enjoy your breakfast and drive back to Leh via Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs. Arrive Leh and check in at the hotel. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 10 Depart Leh

In the morning transfer to the airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
