Day 1 - Jammu - Katra

Arrival early morning at Jammu and transfer to Katra (Jammu To Katra 50 kms - 1.5 hrs). Check into hotel and process to Vaishnodevi Darshan, Please note : (Total 13 kms walk to the temple that takes about 4-5 hours). To reach the Bhawan, options like helicopter, ponies and palanquins are available. En-route stops at Adhkwari Temple and darshan at Baba Bhaironath Temple is recommended). During Summer and peak travel season it may be advisable to start the climb previous evening. Once queue tickets are purchased the wait period could be half an hour to 3 hours depending on the rush. During season Yatra Parchi (entry tickets required to being the uphill walk), it is recommended to purchase in advance to avoid delays. Guests looking for Helidarshan (Helicopter ride, darshan and back), morning flights are recommeded for best weather and least uncertainty. Return by late evening.

Day 2 Katra – Shivkhori - Katra Same Day Excursion (85 Km-One way / Approx 03 Hours Drive)

After early breakfast, go for an excursion to Shivkohri is popularly known as “Mini Amarnath” temple with a 400 feet long cave. Shivkhori means the cave of Lord Shiva. While driving to the holy place, you will also visit three holy spots en-route. The first one is Aghaar Baba Jitto (6 kms from Katra), which is the shrine of revolutionary Baba Jitto. After that the shrine of Nau Deviyan (10 kms from Katra). Next Baba Dhansar Temple (17 kms from katra). It's lord shiva temple full of beauty and extremely beautiful waterfall at one corner. And also visit Siar Baba Waterfalls.

On reaching Shivkhori, you will be dropped at the starting point of the yatra to the Shivling which is around 4 kms steep walk. The yatra and darshan can take anytime between 1.5 to 3 hours. After darshan, return back to the starting point and get transferred back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Katra - Patnitop

Following relish breakfast, we are headed towards Patnitop from Katra (90 kms distance). Which is a 3 hours drive from Katra. Patnitop is popularly known as “Mini Kashmir” since it is a cold hill station. On arrival Patnitop, check-in to the hotel and experience the captivate beauty of the place for the rest of the day. Take an evening stroll to Nag Temple & Padora Enclave. Hire a pony to take a trip through the mountains, Pine trees, rivers and greenery and do not forget to take a camera along. Evening at leisure. Enjoy the barbecue/bonfire session organized by the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 Patnitop Exploration

Today after breakfast, you will get an option to visit the magnificent green valley of Nathatop. Birds eye view from Nathatop to the surrounding hills. Even the helicopters fly below this point. The cool breeze chills even in summers. It offers an amazing view of surrounding peaks and remains covered with white carpet snow in winters. It also offers a beautiful view of the surrounding Shivalik range and Brahma massif of the Kishtwar Himalayas.

Sanasar Lying in the lap of the fabled Pir Panjal ranges, Sanasar is surrounded by lush forests, and the Green Wilderness. It is a beautiful natural lake surrounded by the scenic beauty of the valley. Experience the breath-taking views of Himalayan mountains, witness the dense vegetation with horses grazing on it in summers, crystal clear lake water with astonishing waves dancing with the breeze. Sanasar offers adventure activities like Rock-climbing, Paragliding, Hot-air ballooning, Parasailing, and Abseiling in season but remain non accessible in winters due to heavy snowfall. Enjoy some time close to nature in this alluring destination. Later, drive back to hotel have your dinner and enjoy a comfortable stay at night in the hotel.

Day 5 Patnitop - Jammu  Local Sightseeing

After you have your yummy breakfast in the morning, take a transfer to the Jammu railway station/ airport. On the way visit jammu local sightseeing of Raghunath temple, Manda Zoo/wildlife sanctuary, Amar mahal museum & Palace, Bahu Fort, Bage- e - bahu garden and Fish house/Aquirium. In the evening drop to jammu/Udhampur railway station and then continue with your onward journey.
