Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar & Srinagar Local Sightseeing

Now you are in gorgeous city Srinagar!! Which is well known for its greenly circumstances filled with amazing gardens, waterfronts and houseboats. It is one of the immense cities in India and it serves as the summer capital of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. This city is located in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and Dal and Anchar lakes.
After getting refresh in a hotel, our jaunt begins at Shankaracharya Temple, also called Jyesteshwara Temple. Shankaracharya temple is located in the peak of the Shankaracharya Hill. This Hill itself lies on the stunning Srinagar’s Zabarwan Range. The main god here is Lord Shiva. This temple is on the altitude of 300m meter that is 1000 feet on top of the valley floor, from this altitude you can see the enchanting beauty of entire Srinagar City.

Our trip leads to discover the splendor of   Mughal Gardens after paying our worship in Shankaracharya Temple. This Mughal Garden is one of the places in Srinagar which is well known for its never-ending prettiness. No words to describe the enchanting beauty of Mughal Gardens, which mesmerize us by its with brilliant and multi-colored flowerbeds, garrulous fountains and terraced lawns, the panoramic breadth of Mughal Gardens.
Chasme Shahi, is notably known for its fine-looking terraced lawn, bright color flowers and freshwater springs and is the tiniest of all Mughal Gardens in Srinagar. This Chasme Shahi  is situated at one end of the Srinagar’s famous Dal Lake and at on the foothills of the Zabarwan mountains.  It is composed of so many trees like fruit trees and Chinar trees which cover over one acre area. In 1632 it was built under the guidance of our famous Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, as time rolls it went under so many refurbishment. The fresh water spring is so refreshing by its exclusivity and it has so much of mineral content, so this garden was named by the Emperor for its renowned freshwater spring, the chashma.  It contains waterfalls and variety of fountains which totaling to the thriving magnificence of this garden.

Next we are going to visit the garden of bliss!!! Yes it’s none other than Nishat Bagh. Its backdrop is filled with Zabarwan Mountains and from here you can view the stunning beauty of Dal Like. This garden terraces are composed with soaring trees and bright flowers so it’s got the name “Nishat”-means joy.  In 1633 AD, it was planned by the Noor Jahan’s brother Asaf Khan. Here each Zodiac sign is represented by twelve terraces. Center of the garden contains a rectangular pool by bring down a mountain spring, through the use of 15-feet high slide. Song shoots of Bollywood are happen frequently in this garden because of its charming exquisiteness.

After exploring the garden of bliss, we are entering into the garden named Shalimar Bagh which means “Adobe of Love” . It was built for Nur jahan by her loving husband the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. This garden is so spacious than the above two gardens; it lies on Dal Lake covering over an area of 31 acres. The terraced landscape is the exemplary facet of this garden as those terraces lies one above another with attractive water fountains and ruled with Chinar trees.  Enthused by the Persian “Charbagh” concept, the outline of this garden was planned. The Shah Nahar water conduit is running from upper terrace to subordinate terrace is unique master piece here.
 The Hazratbal shrine to be found at the banks of Dal Lake, which is renowned for its white Marble , its nearer from the Nishat Nagh. Dargah Sharif is another name for this Hazratbal shrine. This mosque is vastly sacred for Muslims and they are serving their love and respect for the Prophet here. The sacred hair of Prophet Muhammad’s beard is in this Dargah sharif, so it’s said as the house of Moi-e-Muqqadus.
While on festivals, the sacred remnant is displayed for public. It has another one specialty, it is the only domed structure mosque in Kashmir. The structural design is very similar to Persian styles. To built the entire shrine it took nearly eleven years. All Fridays have mass gatherings here, they pray their almighty for prosperous. Women are allowed only till primary part. Kindly make a note of it.
Our first day ends here, have a warm dinner and check into the Hotel for lovely residing overnight.

Day 2 Full-day Excursion to Sonamarg

After refreshing, a hearty breakfast is served at the hotel, then we are leading to Sonamarg significantly means meadow of Gold, situated at a distance of 90 km from Srinagar. Along the garrulous Sindh River, Sonamarg charms its visitors with its enormous green valley. From sonamarg we can lead our trip to the prominent Thajiwas Glacier.  It can be reached by walking for three hours or you can take a pony ride.  Thajiwas Glacier is filled with spotless snowy ice lies on bright green meadows. You can see this sparkling view at the height of 9,186 feet.  This is the wonderful sight for the persons who are fond of clicking beautiful snaps of the glaciers and hills which are habitually roofed with mist.
Subsequently after this breath taking experience, return to the hotel in Srinagar and relish a cheerful dinner, reside in your room for quite sleep.

Day 3 Drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg

Following relish breakfast, we are headed towards Gulmarg through Tangmarg road. We can reach Gulmarg, after scenic drive of 55 Kilometres from Srinagar. After reaching, move to the hotel for some relaxation. Like Sonamarg – the meadow of Gold, Gulmarg is the meadow of flowers. Due to its picturesque beauty, it’s the famous and much visiting sightseeing location in Kashmir.  This meadow is enclosed with flourishing green carpet in summer season and roofed with bright white snows in winter season. It is an outstanding location for skiing, because the slopes in this region diverge from the altitude from 8700 to 10,500 feet. It is the world’s uppermost 18-hole golf course which also enchants visitors. A fun filled Gondola ride is the fabulous attraction here. You can take lift at your own expenditure, it taking visitors at the altitude of 15,000 feet which gives an exciting view of fir-clad slopes.  Here walking, skiing, ATV rides, golfing and much more are assured here. This gondola lift is one of the highest lifts in the world.  In the evening you can go for leisurely walk via magnificent valleys, besides mountain streams and explore the lakes in the region.
After this pleasurable experience, returned to the hotel for quite good sleep.

Day 4 Gulmarg – Pahalgam

After a appetizing breakfast in the hotel, check-out from the hotel and move towards Pahalgham.
It lies at 8200 feet above the sea level at the joining of both beautiful Lidder and Sheshnag river. It is one of most striking spot in Kashmir, Pahalgham is also known as village of shepherds. Because of its progressively falling warmth and the shimmering Lidder river, its attracting a swarm of tourists.
Pahalgham has enormous meadows, greener pastures, and shady pine forests assuring its one of the astonishing worthy health resorts in the country. Its alluring scenic beauty is shown in so much of Bollywood movies.
Reach Pahalgam, after headed towards a distance of about 150 km, and check-in at the hotel and have a sound sleep in your room.

Day 5 Pahalgam Local Sightseeing

After splendid breakfast, heading towards the Aru Valley. Aru Valley is one of the hidden jewels in Kashmir. It is filled with foggy environs, overwhelming beauty of dense pines and various trekking, horse riding activities and much more. This valley also serves foundation site for activities like mountain climbing.
After Aru valley,  Betaab valley is reached.  The Bollywood movie ‘Betaab’ was shot here, so its got that name after that. Most of the Bollywood films shot here.
After Bettab Valley’s breathtaking beauty, we can trek to Chandanwari. It is just about 18 km from Pahalgham which serves as the preparatory point for the Amarnath Yatra.  Alphine grass lands on the edge of tree line gives a mesmerizing look.
Baisaran Valley can be reached by using pony rides which are easy to get to in pahalgam and it is also just 5km away from Pahalgham. You can also reach by trekking which takes nearly 1 and half hour. It is also named as mini-Switzerland for its charming exquisiteness. Snow covered mountains and hill has green meadow with whispering pine forests, you can get a amazing view here. Day 6 Pahalgam to Srinagar Houseboat
